This initiative seeks to provide 1,000 learners with the opportunity to participate in the ‘Google IT Support professional certificate’ across Sub-Saharan Africa with a specific focus on South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria. These learners will receive additional life skills training that will make them more sought after in the current job market and secure future job placement in entry-level positions for IT and technical industries.

IYF is working closely with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) and registered Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges in South Africa, Kenya and the Youth of Technology Foundation (YTF) in Nigeria to implement the programme for our youth and help influence workforce training systems that promote digital fluency in response to market needs.

Currently, Skills for Success has 150 online based learning materials.
